Terms and Conditions

1. Payment Policy

All services provided by World Travel Island (WTI) are subject to the following terms and
conditions.

“Services” refers to any of the following:

Transport (Flights, airport transfers, car rentals, etc.)

Accommodation (Hotels, resorts, lodges, etc.)

Tourist Services (Sightseeing, excursions, guided tours, visa processing, travel
insurance, etc.)

Visa Services (Visa applications and processing for various destinations)

Ancillary Services (Additional services such as ticketing, travel assistance, etc.)

2. Your Booking

Booking details must be completed personally by the traveler or an authorized
representative of a group.

WTI will confirm bookings via email or other means upon receipt of necessary details. A
booking is deemed complete once a confirmation invoice is issued.

Clients are responsible for verifying all booking details and must notify WTI immediately
of any corrections.

3. Your Contract

This contract and all services provided by WTI are exclusively governed by Sri Lankan
law.

While WTI facilitates bookings, actual services are provided by third-party suppliers
(e.g., airlines, hotels, transport providers). WTI acts only as an agent and is not
responsible for issues arising from the supplier’s service.

WTI is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or any loss caused by third-party
service providers.

Supplier-specific terms and conditions apply and will be provided in vouchers or directly
by the service provider.

4. Payment

Unless otherwise specified, full payment is required at the time of booking.

WTI reserves the right to cancel bookings or apply cancellation charges if payment is
not received within the stipulated timeframe.

5. Pricing and Cost Changes

Prices quoted at the time of booking are subject to change due to fluctuations in costs
such as fuel surcharges, airline fees, taxes, or exchange rates.

Any price increases will be communicated promptly, and customers will be required to
settle additional amounts before travel.

6. Changes and Amendments by the Client

Clients may request changes to their booking (e.g., travel dates, services, etc.). WTI will
make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee availability.
Additional charges may apply.

No refunds or credits will be provided for unused services if the client does not utilize
the booked arrangements.

7. Cancellations by the Client

Clients may cancel their bookings at any time by submitting a request via email or
online channels.

The cancellation policy, including applicable fees, will be communicated at the time of
booking.

8. Changes by WTI

WTI reserves the right to make changes due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., flight
rescheduling, force majeure, or supplier-related issues).

WTI will inform clients of such changes as early as possible but is not liable for any
additional costs incurred by the client.

9. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If a client has a complaint regarding services (e.g., hotel, transport, etc.), they must
notify the relevant supplier immediately. If the issue remains unresolved, WTI must be
informed in writing within 48 hours.

Disputes that remain unresolved for more than 30 days will be referred to arbitration in
Colombo, Sri Lanka, under ICC Arbitration Rules.

10. Liability of WTI

WTI’s liability is limited to the value of the specific service affected, excluding insurance
and amendment charges.

WTI shall not be liable for any indirect losses, including missed flights, additional
accommodation costs, or lost business opportunities.

11. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, travel insurance,
and vaccinations.

Clients must behave responsibly and will be liable for any damages caused to WTI’s
suppliers due to negligence or reckless behavior.

Clients acknowledge that travel services may involve inherent risks, and WTI shall not
be responsible for any personal injury or damages unless due to WTI’s negligence.

12. Global Support and Customer Assistance

WTI operates as a global travel operator with support companies in different regions.
However, these affiliates do not process bookings directly.

Customer inquiries related to payments, bookings, or support should be directed to
WTI’s main contact points.
